Products are developed by University of Oslo (UiO) scientists and engineers in collaboration with NorECs staff. The most specialised parts are manufactured at and bought from the mechanical, glass, and electronic workshops of the Department of Chemistry, UiO. This ensures that qualified mechanical engineers, glass-blowers, and electrical engineers take part in manufacture and design. Ceramics are cut and drilled, and cells assembled by NorECs staff. Noble metals, ceramics, connectors, and electrical/electronic parts are obtained from major Norwegian and European producers such as K A Rasmussen, Degussa, SVAFAS/Swagelok, Eurotherm.
