In-house fabricated samples
NorECs is initiating delivery of test samples suitable for demonstration, education, training, and research using ProboStatTM measurement cells.
The samples are disks with 0, 1, 2, or 3 Pt electrodes or bars without electrodes or with Pt end-face electrodes. The electrodes are made with commercial Pt-pastes and may have Pt mesh embedded. The samples are uniaxially cold-pressed and subsequently sintered to >95% density. The ceramic powders are mostly commercial state-of-the-art supplies or spray-pyrolised.

SOFC single cell MEAs from InDEC B.V.
SOFC anode-electrolyte-cathode test cells of type ASC2 with thin anode-supported electrolytes. See the product range of InDEC B.V. (Innovative Dutch Electro Ceramics) for details. We have in stock a batch of circular cells of type ASC2 of 20 mm diameter and with custom cathode diameters of 14 mm suitable for sealing to our 20 mm support tubes.
We suggest such cells are used for comparison and demonstration tests. The cells are currently under test in ProboStat sample holders, and we plan to issue an application note on this later on.
